Strawberry Shortcake

 

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.  Grease a cookie sheet or 9”x13” pan.

Mix 2 1/3 c. Bisquik

3 T. sugar

3 T. melted butter, cooled slightly

½ c. milk to make a soft dough.

Spread into 8” x 12” rectangle, spread with

2 T. softened butter.  Sprinkle with

2 T. granulated sugar

¼ tsp. nutmeg.

Bake 10 – 12 mins. until light brown.  Cut into squares, split, serve with 3 pts. hulled, sliced, sugared strawberries, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.
